Background
Engaged in estate planning as an attorney since 1976, I have emphasized estate planning, trusts and probate since 1987. I am an active speaker on such topics as "Estate Planning," "Living Trusts," "Probate," and "Durable Powers of Attorney." Some highlights of my career so far include:

- Former member of the Board of Governors, Washington State Bar Association
- Former member of the Board of Governors, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association
- Past Editor-in-Chief of the Trial News, WSTLA's newspaper
- Former Chair of the following Washington State Bar Court Committees: Court Rules, Long Range Planning, and Electronic Communications
- Former Magistrate and Judge pro tem in Bellevue District Court
- Experienced Mediator with Settlement Now

Past President of Board of Trustees of Holy Names Academy and the Holy Family Kirkland School Commission

Volunteer with Eastside Legal Assistance Program (named Volunteer of the Year in 1996)
Volunteer attorney in the Bellevue Legal Clinic of the King County Bar Association
Former Treasurer and former president of KITH, a non-profit corporation which serves the homeless on the Eastside.
Immediate Past President of Kiwanis Club of Kirkland.
Secretary of Mentee Educational Foundation Board which is building an early education school in Liberia.
